Malda police have issued "wanted" posters for Krishna Rajak (30), also known as Rohan, and Bablu Yadav (31), both accused in the murder of a Trinamool Congress leader. The police have announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for anyone providing information that leads to their arrest. The two men, both active members of the Trinamool Congress, are suspected of involvement in the killing of a local leader, and their connections with influential party figures have been a point of focus in the investigation.
Bablu Yadav’s wife confirmed his affiliation with the Trinamool Congress, stating that he had interactions with local party leaders. She revealed that they have been separated for over two years, and divorce proceedings are ongoing. She further mentioned that Bablu did not stay at home for extended periods, and their conversations were minimal, limited to essential matters. Despite this, she acknowledged his ties with the party but did not disclose the names of any specific leaders with whom he had close relations.
The police investigation is actively seeking both Krishna Rajak and Bablu Yadav, urging the public to report any information regarding their whereabouts. The reward offered highlights the seriousness with which authorities are pursuing the case. Law enforcement continues to follow leads and gather evidence to ensure the arrest of the accused. The investigation remains ongoing as Malda police intensify their efforts to resolve the case.
